Safe, clean water is an immediate necessity for individuals and families affected by the complete devastation of natural disasters like Harvey and Irma. By Nature Companies (BNC) is donating a truckload of Agua Plus to current relief efforts. The company aims the donation towards ensuring that those affected have one less basic necessity to worry about.

“Our hearts go out to all those who are suffering in the wake of Harvey and Irma,” said By Nature Companies Co-Founder, Adam Gauer. “When people are losing their homes, being separated from their families and ultimately having their lives turned upside down, they have enough on their minds and hearts. Basic necessities like clean drinking water should never be out of reach,”

“Relief efforts are all about delivering compassionate care; providing services and necessities to the families and individuals dealing with such difficult situations. We are just grateful to be in a position to play some sort of a supporting role in that.”

Globally, about 2 million people die each year from water, sanitation, and hygiene-related causes. Disasters that cause severe flooding result in a direct effect on the transmission of waterborne and vector-borne illness. Interruption of basic services, along with supply loss and limitations, make the rapid delivery of clean and safe water one of the most critical relief services required.

“We’re humbled by the opportunity to make a difference in some small way to such an important cause,” said Gauer. Individually and as an organization, we’re determined to use the resources we have to contribute to people in need. We’ve just recently opened up distribution (of Agua Plus), so it was a natural way to allocate one of our resources to much needed relief efforts.”

In addition to the immediate donation of Agua Plus, By Nature Companies is committing to year-round donations of Agua Plus to multiple disaster response organizations. Donating to disaster relief organizations plays a vital role in the ability to react quickly to the needs of those most affected. BNC is committed to delivering tens of thousands of bottles of Agua Plus annually.
